Petmate Twist and Treat + Making Playtime Longer for Bitsy I Hill Country Homestead Texas
This post is sponsored by JW Twist-In Treats but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.
There is rarely a day we don’t make a family trip out to the play area in the forest in front of our house. We load up the stroller just like you would in a neighborhood, pack snacks and toys and off into the forest we go. Bitsy is always alongside us and loves to ride in the stroller with the kids. In the past, there isn’t much for Bitsy to do once we get out there. She sniffs around and explores and watches the kids on the swings, but this last time we went we brought the Petmate JW Twist and Treat dog toy to add a twist to Bitsy’s fun at the park!
I could tell as I opened the package that the toy was durable rubber, and I noticed the twist in treats came in bacon and chicken flavor. Bitsy was eagerly waiting under the table as we opened the dog toy and twisted in the bacon flavored treat. Bitsy was starting in anticipation the whole time we were getting her toy ready, and it was so cute! Have you ever seen so much anticipation in a sweet pup’s face?
Once Bitsy was inspecting the Twist in treat dog toy, the other dogs caught wind of the scent and excitement and came close to see what was going on. I set off to push the children on their swings and hold hands on the slide, and Bitsy was playing with the treat toy the entire time the kids played! The dog treat has a customizable difficulty setting to cater to each dog’s difficulty level. Making treat time longer kept Bitsy out from under my feet while I monitored the kids, and it took her half a day to finish the treat inside the toy!
