Wimberley Library Launches Summer Reading with a Bang!
A Standout Summer Reading Kickoff at Wimberley Library!
As avid library explorers, we’ve visited our fair share of libraries across the country—but the Wimberley Library has truly left a lasting impression.
We recently had the pleasure of attending their Summer Reading Kickoff Party, and it was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was festive and welcoming. There were face painting stations run by talented local teen volunteers, refreshing snow cones, and even a petting zoo—featuring reptiles and a kangaroo!
One of the most impressive parts? HEB provided free hot dogs and bottled water, keeping everyone cool and satisfied in the Texas heat. There were also CPR demonstrations, adding a practical and educational twist to the fun.
What truly sets the Wimberley Library apart, though, is its strong connection with the teen community. The library gives teens a positive outlet through meaningful volunteer opportunities, daily activities, and a dedicated teen area that’s always buzzing with energy. It’s more than just a library—it’s a community hub that nurtures creativity, connection, and a love of learning.
We love what the Wimberley Library stands for and how it continues to grow with and for its community. It’s a place we’re excited to return to—again and again.
