There’s nothing quite like waking up to horses grazing in both the front and backyard — it’s pure ranch life magic here at Montesino Ranch in Wimberley, Texas! Between the splash of the pool slide, the peaceful hum of nature, and the cool call of the Blanco River, this place is the perfect summer escape. 🌞

We stayed in the Lee House, which is absolutely perfect for families. It has private bedrooms, a full kitchen for easy meals, and a cozy living space — but the real showstopper? The patio with a bathtub overlooking the horse pasture. Talk about soaking with a view! There's even a piano inside, adding to the charm and relaxing vibe of the home.

Tucked into a lush valley along the river, Montesino Ranch is a slice of Hill Country heaven. With a saltwater pool (yes, complete with a slide!), scenic hiking and horse trails, and an organic garden, there’s something here for everyone to fall in love with. Our personal favorite? Hiking up to the top of the mountain to take in panoramic views of the ranch and the surrounding beauty of Wimberley — absolutely breathtaking. 🌄

The wildlife here is incredibly abundant and exciting — we spotted all kinds of creatures while wandering the property, adding even more magic to the experience.

We look forward to cooling off in the Blanco River and racing down the pool slide again and again. Can’t wait to soak up more of this serene, sunshine-filled ranch life. ✨
