I recently discovered a rare gem in the Texas Hill Country — Shady Grove, a charming 4-bedroom, 2-bath farmhouse that comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests. One of my favorite things about this place is the cozy, full-sized hot tub right under the stars — the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring.

Located just minutes from Wimberley’s iconic town square, Shady Grove strikes the perfect balance between peaceful country living and easy access to local attractions. The house sits on a quiet rural street, giving you a sense of seclusion without being far from all the action.

During my stay, I loved how there were so many fun games available — from cornhole and darts to connect four and ring toss — making downtime just as enjoyable as adventures out and about.

If you’re into hiking or swimming, Jacob’s Well and Blue Hole Regional Park are close by, offering refreshing spots to cool off. And for those who enjoy a good glass of wine or some unique shopping, Wimberley’s local wineries and boutique shops are just a short drive away.

Honestly, Shady Grove felt like my own little piece of heaven in the Hill Country — a place to relax, recharge, and soak in the beauty of Texas. We love you going back again and again and falling in love with Wimberley more each time!
